Kansas and Texas wont step into the PIT, so it sounds like all talk to me!!

There's a big difference between losing at Duke or Kentucky and losing at New Mexico. We are big Lobo fans so we feel we should be considered with those teams, but until we can make the tourney consistently and advance past the first weekend, these teams will not come to the Pit. They have nothing to gain.

I don't think those schools would come to the Pit even if we made the sweet-16 consistantly. Memphis and Gonzaga have been top-15 teams consistantly over the last decade and you don't see the above mentioned schools knocking down there door. I'm happy with beating a ton of middle-of-the-road "little six" programs like Arizona State, Oklahoma State...

Serious? Or do I need to educate you where "little" six things like motion offense and man-to-man defense originated? It's the second most historic program in the Big12-2 and a top 20 overall.
Also, I have called around and a series in the future is in the works, it is depending on next year. OSU wants to see how New Mex plays. It's looking like Stillwater in 2012, NM in 13, Stillwater 14.
Pokes are a Final Four contender with Nash. (I think the Lobos are at least sweet 16, 8 if Alf gets them to peak at the right time.) GIA has fallen off as of recent but it could hold its own in its time. The Pit wasn't very scary during the wasteland for basketball that was the 00's, GIA was insane for most of it.
So when is parody the same as parity? Good grief.
I for one am a fan of a 'pair o' D's
