Nice update on Winston Sheppard's performance this summer. I gotta' give credit to that Twitter thing that RPS has going on the site. I got the link off of one of those tweets from associate head coach Todd Simon at Findlay Prep.

Gotta get this young man to the Pit and suited up with some Lobo gear!
What are our chances of actually getting this kid?
Excellant!
SHEP is on CBS CS right now! Game just started..GO SHEP!
That was before he opened it up. LolI don't think anyone knows what hea doing right now. Stay tuned but I've still seen reports/articles that he's cutting his list Aug 22nd. If that's the case then I like our chances.

we want W S in the Pit
yes we do, spent all afternoon watching these games. shep is so athletic and he has GREAT court presence. Be a lobo shep, be a lobo!
How great of a passer is this Shepard kid? The Hobson comparison is bandied about, but Winston has the same court vision.
He is a very good passer. Comparing him to butta is fair, but by the time we got butta he was already a junior in college. Shep is just a senior in high school. Developmentally shep is on track to be a great D1 player, and with polish from Alford and crew he could be a successful NBA 2.
I can't see him making it as a 2 guard, he just doesn't have the handles or lateral quickness for that at the NBA level, I think he is more of a NBA 3 if he does make it, he is more athletic and explosive than Hobson or leonard, Hobson has the better handles and jumper, if winston gets his mid range game down he has all the potential to be an NBA first rounder down the line.
