Pretty decent writeup, but Dairese ran the point for four years, not three. And who is this Marshall guy that will be dishing it to Hugh? Or did I read that paragraph entirely wrong?
Wow. If any of these *******s ever mentioned my son in a write up I would drop dead of a heart attack....I guess the slaps in the face will just continue...

Doesn't matter what they think or what they say. I doubt that ANY writer ever mentioned Roman Martinez at any point before or during his freshman year. All Roman did was go down as one of THE most loved Lobos of all time! No worries, 46, we know about you son, and that's all that matters!
@ Lobo46... That may not be a bad thing. Let these articles put a proverbial chip on Nique's shoulders and let him come out spitting fire. A few years ago they never mentioned a guy named Darrington and he used it at motivation. His time will come when they are all jumping on his bandwagon.
Also, I knew Drew was a monster on the defensive glass (and offensive for that matter), but did anyone else realize he was 3rd in the nation when looking at his defensive rebounding percentage rate. That is outstanding.
Don't worry Lobo46. If it helps, none of us last year knew how good KW would be. I see DD having that kind of impact. Prove them all wrong.
There are numerous examples of guys who didn't get any publicity before they showed up. Roman Martinez is the best example. Lightly recruited, but he earned a starting position as a freshman. All of these guys will get a chance to contribute. His time will come. And his success will taste that much sweeter because of what he went through.

Be cool your son will shine when he is on the floor. I had a chance to watch him (twice) practice and was impressed with his size and athletic ability. He will make his freshman mark with his defensive strength and conditioning. Thought he and Huey were very well conditioned and both were very smart with the ball. These two may wind up being two of the top freshman in the MWC this year. I know your son has the "it", the "will to win" is evident in how he plays. I am so glad he is playing for us (Lobos) and not the competition....
