Green and Lance Rozeboom, I think. ... Next year, we should be a monster with all that talent back. Maybe even better than a 10th seed, but only if the entire east coast falls into the sea.

It suck losing like we did, but NM is very proud of the UNM soccer team. They represented us very well and will be back in the hunt next year. We proved to the country that we deserve some respect, and can play with anyone. Good job lobos, you had a great season.

Lobos played tough, could have gone either way in regular time but we really owned USF from midway in the 2nd half onwards, lots of missed opportunities.

This was the type of game where the shaft we got in seeding really came into play IMHO. Give us this game at home (like we deserved) and it probably would have had a different outcome.
It will be interesting to see where we are ranked in next years pre-season polls. Given all the east coast bias, it will probably be in the 30's or something.
Since we lost to UCF in PK's, doesn't that mean that the game was officially a tie, like the conf. championship game against UCSB? That would mean that the Lobos finished the entire season undefeated! Thanks for the great season.....looking forward to next year!
