I was at the game. Wyoming is improved for sure. Leonard Washington is a good ball player, very athletic. Martinez, the JUCO who got hurt before the season last year is decent - very streaky shooter, just as likely to miss 5 straight open shots as he is to hit 5 straight tough shots. Anyone ever seen JayDee Luster and the elf from Bad Santa in the same place at the same time?? Just curious. Keep in mind two things: CU has absolutely no inside presence, even worse than CSU inside and Nate Tomlinson for CU is the worst starting basketball player in a major 6 conference. He destroys the Buffs on a night like tonight, in the games they've won they've gotten really strong play from their freshman guards Booker and Dinwiddie, which forces Boyle to sit Tomlinson, not tonight. We owe WYO a sweep this year. Good win for the Pokes. MWC > PAC12.

Another MWC victory over the Pac-12. What is the MWC's record vs. Pac-12 this season now? Probably up to like 11-2 or something, right?

From that article it today's LA Times:

Just in case there are doubts about the caliber of basketball in New Mexico's Mountain West Conference, the Lobos have already beaten two PAC12 Conference teams, Arizona State and Washington State. The Trojans have lost to Nevada Las Vegas and San Diego State of the Mountain West.

I watched that game and couldn't help but thinking that both teams looked bad. Wyoming has very little offense and CU couldn't crack a standard 2-3 zone...Still a good win for the MWC. Road wins are always welcome ;).
