Couple Things

Had the pleasure of sitting front row tonight (Thanks Sanjo!) and was able to hear and talk to some people.

First things first. I heard the Quel had a concussion at halftime but he sure didn't look like it when he walked out. He did loose a front tooth with the elbow he caught and I hear it was the gold one. He wouldn't smile and every time he talked he kept his towel over his mouth.

Second. I asked David Hall if he would issue me an apology during a timeout since we (UNM and Fans) cant get one anywhere else. He turned, thought a second and the said " Your right, im sorry" in a very sincere but while smiling. He took some heat tonight but I can say he handled it like a pro and was man enough to turn and say hes sorry for some fan he knew nothing about. He also made it a point to go to Alford before the game and chat with him for about 30 second. I assume it was an apology and a little butt kissing but still it was cool to see him make an effort and own his mistake. Still cost us a game though! :angry:

Third: The game was never in question and never got Pit loud but it was fun. I saw the players joking and laughing and that was encouraging after the last 2 blowouts.

BTW, I have to take credit for the blowout. I quit wearing my lucky Ritchie Mckay shirt, and my Lobo Red, as the team whose colors I have been wearing got blown out the last two games. I thought I would change my starting line up so to speak, and I am now 3 for 3 on wearing blowout colors. Brown and yellar for the 9th now! :Afun)

Milky even got some airtime on Postgame Live!!!
