Found this on the Findlay website. Hope Curtis does well in a "must see event" for the UK people running the event...
It mentions #1 Tyreke Evans getting 46 points against IMG Academy. Well, Curtis dropped 33 against IMG on Feb 1st. Can't wait to see him in the Pit...

UofL / UK Basketball Recruits Highlight Neutral Zone Hoops Showcase
America’s No. 1 & No. 3 ranked players headline prep doubleheader at Louisville Gardens
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – More than a dozen of the nation’s top recruits, including prep All-Americans Tyreke Evans, Samardo Samuels and DeAndre Liggins, will compete in the “Neutral Zone Hoops Showcase,” Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at the Louisville Gardens. Game Seven Sports Media – a division of Louisville-based Blue Equity, LLC – will manage the event.
“If you are interested in UofL and UK basketball, this is a must-see event,” said Clark Francis, editor of Hoop Scoop and one of the nation’s top recruiting analysts. “With the level of talent coming in, it’s going to be a great event. Evans is an absolute must get for UofL and a tremendous scorer. Samuels is a beast inside and one of the most improved players this year. Next year, he will serve as a great quick fix after the departure of Padgett and Palacios. Liggins is a point forward that can pass, rebound and is just a physical specimen.”
Samuels, currently ranked as the nation’s No. 3 senior, will lead St. Benedict’s Prep (Newark, N.J.) against New Creations Christian School (Richmond, Ind.) at 7 p.m. Samuels’ Gray Bees are currently ranked third nationally by USA Today after defeating previous No. 1 Oak Hill Academy in late December.
The nation’s top-ranked player, Tyreke Evans, will lead American Christian School (Aston, Pa.) against undefeated Findlay Prep (Las Vegas, Nev.) in the 8:30 p.m. game. Evans, who has yet to commit or sign a national letter of intent with a college or university, tallied 46 points, five rebounds, six steals and four blocks in American Christian’s win over IMG Academy at Freedom Hall on Dec. 8. He is reportedly considering UofL, UConn, Memphis, Villanova, Texas and Seton Hall. His teammate, Lamont Jones, a 5’11 junior point guard who has given a verbal commitment to Louisville, had 34 points in his December appearance.
Findlay Prep, led by Kentucky signee DeAndre Liggins, is currently ranked among the top five prep schools in the nation. Its roster includes four other seniors bound for Florida State, UNLV, New Mexico and Cal State Fullerton.
“We at Neutral Zone are very excited to serve as the title sponsor of one of America’s greatest displays of high school basketball talent. We believe in being very active in the community and this is one way, of many to come, to do that,” said Rick Paulin, owner of Neutral Zone.
Tickets will be available beginning Friday, Feb. 1 at the Neutral Zone, located at 117/227 Blankenbaker Parkway. Tickets also will be available on-line at www.game-seven.com. Reserved sideline tickets are $25 each with general admission tickets priced at $10 each (each ticket is subject to an additional arena usage fee). A limited number of courtside seats are available for $75 each. For corporate or group packages, please contact Game Seven Sports Media at 859-317-2206. Everything I read about Curtis Dennis sounds like the dude is a playa! Can't wait to see him torch the Pit nets.
Would you guys like to do a real time chat with Curtis? I can maybe set something up with him but I would need you guys to participate. Let me know in this thread and if we get enough replies I will try to set something up at a time he can get on the site.

If the timing works out, I can call in. 5:00 to 5:30 or after 7:30 pm. Between 5:30 and 7:30 I usually am not available for this type of thing. I don't have much to say, simply would want to thank him for choosing our program and let him know that we're excited to see him play at the Pit next year.
That would be great. Keeping in mind the time difference, maybe he could do it after practice sometime, which would probably make it later in the evening local time and that would probably be good for most.

That would be really cool, RPS! I'ld be good for a foolish question or two.
I'm a changed man, thanks to you Bloo. I'd give you a pat on the back if you were nearby. I finally recognized my one weakness as a human being - lack of gratitude for my fellow man and woman. However, I am coachable and I want to thank you again for taking the time to mentor me on this. And I'd like to thank everyone on this board. I am no longer an insensitive Homer Simpson. I think I've made it up to Family Guy (Peter) status. Or maybe it was Chuck Norris. I get my cartoon characters mixed up sometimes.
Good Idea RPS! Another idea would be to have everyone submit questions ahead of time and Curtis could pick some of the questions & provide responses. If you use this method, you would ensure that Curtis wouldn't be stood up. For instance, I totally forgot that JR was having a web chat on ESPN's website last week--even though you reminded us a few days before. Maybe you can post the questions and Curtis' responses on a thread so that people could read it at their convenience.
Sign me up. I'm down that would be cool. Let me know when and what time.

WE ARE NEW MEXICO !
Need much more support than 4 people. If we can get like 15 people then I will try to get it going. If not then I wont pursue it.

You know Milkys down!

I think the key is the time. Depending on when, I could be down, but weekdays are growing busier and busier for me, so knowing whether the option of pre-submitting some questions would make all the difference for me. Otherwise, I'd have to remain non-committal until I know the time.
