Skyler and I are watching Suns at Spurs. Kawhi is starting. Playing pretty well and they talked about his recent play. Anyone follow the Spurs? Is he starting in place of Manu?
Thanks - guess I should have posted this elsewhere, but Kawhi is from the MWC, so I figured it'd be ok. :)
KL is alright. I picked him up for my fantasy league team.
I'm a huge Spurs fan so I've seen 90% of Leonard's games this season. Very happy to have him on the Spurs and not on SDSU at the same time. :lol
24pts, 10rebs, and 5 stls last night. I will take that for my fantasy team.
Leonard is starting now after the Spurs traded Richard Jefferson (thank god). He's playing very well and he's tearing it up again tonight. Great player.
Green is starting in place of Manu (SG). KL plays the 3. He is a great addition to the Spurs. His rebounding and defense have been solid, and he is actually shooting much better now. He is a real threat for the corner three. Engelund may have taught him something. But overall he just fits in well with the Spurs team-first, no-showboating mentality. The Spurs have a good shot at going deep in the playoffs so you should get to see quite a bit of KL if you tune in.
BTW Leonard made Frank Reynolds Trashman All-Star team:

I have no doubt that Chip has been a huge part of his three. If you watch him at the start of the year he was very tentative out there on the 3 point line and how he's letting them fly with no hesitation. Quite frankly, the transformation on the offensive end of the court has been nothing short of phenomenal.
I would love to see what the Spurs coaching staff could do with Drew Gordon given how they've helped out KL.
The Spurs only have the 29th pick (second to last) in the second round. If Gordon falls that low, I hope they pick him up. Of course they could also trade for a better second round pick, but that seems a bit unlikely.
