Can't count HA they should probably be rated #9 since they have only 7 total commits!

How can AFA have 29 commits? Do they not have the same limits as other teams?

They send the majority of them to the prep school.

If you take away Boise St. and SDSU, the Lobos are #3.

The AFA is allowed to have a JV team. Go look at their roster. its huge. almost twice as many players as we have.

Air Force Academy is a military school. Everyone who goes there is signing a contract with Military service required after graduation. They all leave as AF officers. Everyone at the Air Force Academy is on scholarship for this reason, everyone, not just athletic teams. Their free degree is in exchange for their service in military. And no... everyone at Air Force Academy is not going to be a pilot. There are lots of other jobs in AF for which officers are needed.

also.... AF Academy is not easy to get into! The valedictorian from my HS in NC applied and was turned down. He had the grades, but not a recommendation from our Gov or some other ranking political figure. Community service is as big as grades to get in. (He ended up at OK, then became a pilot in AF afterwards, and yes we are still friends 30yrs later.)

Rocky used to have a JV squad and they played Air Force. They played others as well.

I am not sure if it is the same in football but I assume so. In Volleyball they have very few recruiting restrictions. The dry periods when all other Universities cannot talk to recruits do not apply to them.
the coaches can talk to kids anytime, anywhere. They also do not have scholarship limits because as Robin said, the kids are not getting athletic scholarships. Every student gets a full ride, some play sports and some don't
