Though I'm not the only Lobo fan on here who knows the town or comes from up there (Portland), I can give you info. where to stay where to go. Of course, like everyone, wish they could play right here in Albuq.
If they play in portland, looks like i'll need to find a ticket.
I'd be willing to host someone in exchange for a ticket or towards one
I hope they are in Portland. I will have to keep you in mind Terry. I will be coming down from Seattle.
Checked Southwest airfare to Portland last night and yikes - $850 round trip

Live across the river from the rose garden, can see it from my place. I'll be there supporting the team! Hope it works out that way!
Will drive over from Bend.

I'm a Portlander. My wife and I will definitely be there.
I was born there does that count?
I hope the game is at night
Terry, you have any suggestions for cheap hotels? I am likely going to be coming down from Seattle and not sure I want to come back up that same day.
I don't. Most of the hotels I know of are close to the airport.
The light rail MAX system swings right by both the airport and Rose Garden and would be the best way to commute in to the arena. Parking is very difficult close to Rose Garden.
This is so exciting! I saw a couple of the games in person at the PIT over xmas and Ive seen just about every single game that's been on the mtn, cbs sports and nbc sports.
There are several hotels around the Lloyd Center (Doubletree, Courtyard by Marriott, Red Lion, etc.) which is just west of the Rose Garden - the light rail goes right by the Rose Garden so it is possible to stay away from the Garden and still be able to get to the venue fairly easily by utilizing the light rail and not have to use a car. The light rail also goes to the airport so it is easy to get into downtown from there (approx. 45 ride).

I'm assuming that Lobo Club trip may be around $1500 or more per person.
For cheapest motels probably in east Portland on I-84 near the PDX airport, or south of Portland in Wilsonville or Woodburn.
