According to Scott Stigler on his show last night Aaron broke a small bone in his foot and is most likley out all of the AAU season.

Man! What a tough blow. Wishing Aaron a speedy recovery.
That's tough. Get well, buddy.

YIKES, get well A G.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Aaron. Take the proper time to let it heal properly.
That's not good. Hope he has a quick recovery

Get well soon, Aaron!
Get well aaron
Hopefully only other headline with breaks in title regarding Aaron is
Star recruit breaks others hearts chooses UNM
I don't know. When I talked to Stigs that's what he told me.

It's the toe. Only a slight fracture, but like you said, it'll keep him out of AAU this summer:

toe fractures SUCK! Speedy recovery Aaron, let that sucker heal up right before working it too hard!
Get well Aaron.
Feb. 1, 1998: Royce Olney's 25-footer with 4.7 seconds remaining gives the Lobos a 77-74 victory over third-ranked and previously unbeaten Utah.
I hear green chile is really good for broken toes... Perhaps a bit of time hanging in the Q with big bro is in order!
GO LOBOS!
"I shot the ball, and it went in." - Rob Robbins

Rest up and get healed.
Maybe he can play chess with Kendall in the summer.
Hope he gets well... Big summer for him as it is for all of the 2013 class. IMO this kid would still be a top 50 prospect if he played his entire high school career on one foot.
Damn, that sucks. Get well soon Aaron!
Aaron,
Step 1 - Take care of yourself an heal up
Step 2 - Dominate yoru senior season
Step 3 - be a Lobo.
“They understand what we want. … Our drive is to cut down nets. Our drive is to size up for rings every spring.” - Steve Alford

Hey big man, that's a tough break, but take it easy and heal first then worry about basketball later. Right now you feel like this is the most important time of your life, and in a way you have to realize, this is the most important time, if you don't heal properly not it could affect your future, take the time and heal man, your whole life is ahead of you, do it right for Aaron.
That sucks. The good news is Aaron is so talented that it wouldn't matter in terms of where he wants to go. He'll heal up and go back to dominating now and into the future, hopefully that's in the cherry and silver.
Aaron, If you happen to read the Lobo Lair, you will see how many local fans are in your corner. Asking you to take your time to properly allow your injury to heal is of the utmost for you personally. Getting an education should also be a major consideration. Aaron you must realize that in college ball playing 35 games a year is alot different that having to play 3 times that in the NBA...So in reality, be sure to let that fracture totally heal. I would love to have you come to UNM and get not only the best coaching around but also a staff that would put your personal welfare as a top consideration. You owe it to yourself to pick the best situation available for you. I as many of the Lobo nation honestly believe that UNM is where you would not only get a solid education but also playing with an upbeat team that welcomes you with open arms. Come be a Lobo!
Get well soon, AG!
I'm just an Aaron fan in general. I don't know if he will be a Lobo or not (fingers crossed), but I do know that he will be posterizing helpless souls in the NBA one day and I will enjoy watching that. The Gordon family are great people and they deserve all the success they are having. Drew's NBA draft day is coming quick!
Hope the toe heals well Aaron. Don't rush back to soon! There is plenty of time before you are back on the court dominating the Calif high school scene, winning another state championship, being named Calif Mr. Basketball, and then hopefully packing for Burque! Best wishes Aaron!
Well good thing is that it happened after the season for him and during the summer time to recoup and recover. I would recommend he doesnt go to crazy on building his upper body to much while not being able to run. If you start lifting a ton of weights while injured you may get stronger but you have to be shooting and playing while lifting or it will throw your shot off tremendously as your just not used to your body anymore. Plus you dont want to put to much more pressure on your legs in carrying around the extra pounds of muscle. Just a friendly suggestion.![]()
Get well Aaron!!! Lots of rest, rehab: physical therapy, swimming, jacuzzi ....and netflix!
GO Aaron!!!

If he had to hurt his foot, it's too bad that it couldn't have happened from contact with Mark Smith's posterior.
