He needs a good round. He's been in this situation before and didnt come through. Im rooting like hell for him. Hopefully he can get it done.
oops, mispelled his last name. Maybe mods can change? s/b Levin
It's really cool, but what's up with the UCLA soft blue on Saturday? Hopefully, on "winning" day, he'll wear his UNM Cherry & Silver or at least Cherry Red!
BTW, he'll be paired with Rory Sabitinni on Sunday. I walked as the standard bearer in Rory's group at the Byron Nelson Championship a couple weeks ago (also included Jason Day and Keegan Bradley)(it was the prior champions group of last 3 years)
Anyway, Rory shot a 5 over on day 1, so a little suprising he's putting together 3 days like this so far.
Hopefully, Spencer can have a great day tomorrow and bring home his first PGA Tour Victory!
If he can just play solid and shoot about a 2 under, that should be enough to bring home the win.
I can't see Tiger shooting a 5 under or better, as he has too many mistakes each round and Rory is streaky, so it's a good set-up for Spencer if he can shoot under par.

Sunday fundays have never been his friend. Hopefully he can change it around.

He birdied 1. Thats a start.
Pars 2. So far so good. Sabbatini pars the 1st too. Looks like Fowler just shot himself out of contention. Tiger 4 back.
Tiger roaring. One behind Levin now.
And now hes behind. The wheels are falling off.

He's completely falling apart.
Well maybe he'll finish in the top 10. Tied for 5th now.
a few tough holes that blew up his final round. Shot making was shaky, but give him credit, he was hitting clutch putt after clutch putt. I'd say, considering his shaking tee to green play, "only" shooting a 3 over was pretty good. Problem is most players were under par and great scores were available.
He needs to learn how to calm down and hit good solid shots on Sundays.
At least he put himself in position to win and still got a huge payday for 4th, which should help him secure his card for next year.
Maybe his lack of weary Cherry Red is what did him in? Might need to try that next time if he wants to get into the winner's circle.
