At that rate of 7.6% games on ESPN, we can expect 2 games on TV for the basketball games :/

It shows its an 'exclusive' broadcast. Ive never watched a game on Espn3, do they take a local feed in some instances, or do they always use their own people?

I believe they just pull the Aggie Vision feed. Watched the UNM-NMSU game 2 years ago at a friends who could get it. I am pretty sure it was the Aggie Announcers. I don't think ESPN has enough people to do all the games on ESPN 3. I think ESON3 does somewhere between 20-25 football games on a Saturday.

ESPN 3 will use the AggieVision feed. If they don't they use the feed that they use for the jumbotron.

For full access, yes. However, many of the games can be streamed at no charge.

Just realized I can watch through my XBOX Live account. My bad, I got discouraged when I saw that my IP and Sat Tv were not on the list.

    Your comment is "bush league".

Do you realize ESPN has hired away several NMSU students over the years that run the production of Aggie Vision to their studios in Bristol, CT? NMSU's Journalism department is credited with several TV personalities over the years such as Carla Aragon and a few other notables on TV in the ABQ market? Their Journalism department used to be nationally credited but recently dropped that affiliation due to the high costs and budget cuts.

Aggie Vision doesn't have HDTV cameras. Some complain about that. Give them time and I'm sure they'll upgrade. I enjoy watching Aggie Vision. To think 19-22 year old students are running a sports production that is usually run by "professionals", is admirable.

Give them credit instead of bashing them.

Careful with that. When ESPN first came to the XBOX I didn't have the right service provider for ESPN3. I could watch things like Sportcenter, highlights and videos but I was not able to watch live games

This is NOT a tv game. This is a game you can stream if you have the right cable provider. It will be the aggievision feed. How sad and far the mwc and unm has fallen on the tv spectrum.

What is sad is that UNM's athletic budget is more than double that of NMSU's, and the athletic profit is more than 6x's that of NMSU and they can manage to have AggieVision and we are stuck with My50 at best.

Sounds like I have offended a NMSU alum... AggieVision still sucks and I don't care who is behind the camera, it is bush league.

I'm not offended by your comment, but I am offended by the truth of your comments. Yeah we all know that the video feed of AV is terrible, but what is worse is that they manage to do it. Heck even New Mexico YAFL has games on TV and the Interwebs every week!

Remember that we have had a solid Tier 3 option (The MTN) for several years now, so there's really been no need to cultivate the My50 (or any other) option for more than just a gap coverage a few times a year (basketball and football combined). AggieVision IS NMSU's Tier 3 option, so they get plenty of inventory to broadcast. I would only consider AggieVision to be a small step up from My50 though. Neither are top end broadcasts, but AggieVision is a regular broadcast, where My50 is not.

I would expect to see some announcements in the coming months that some or most of the road games are being picked up by My50. Hopefully, UNM will be able to negotiate a deal with My50 that will allow them to upgrade their equipment. Since The MTN is gone, maybe we'll see UNM go with more of a student-staffed model, like AggieVision. I wouldn't complain too much about My50, because, until now, they've only been getting the occasional scraps from UNM...
