Too bad they couldn't do the shield design like that by eliminating the unneccessary borders around the head.

I've seen the wolf head without the shield and it looks like something is missing...
That design adds what a missing shield takes away, very dramatic and intimidating. Threatening even. I like it. A static portrait of quiet antcipation. That wolf is eager...look at it!
Points out the strengths in the design: The glare, the eyes, and the teeth....and then hides the other details to make them stick out.
Turquoise eyes...glad they put it somewhere...and it doesn't look like it's forced. It blends well and is an after flavor, rather than a distraction. Turquoise is best when it's secondary.Last edited by LetTheFurFly; 06-29-2012 at 06:32 PM.

I was thinkin the same thing. Its all good, I'm coaching a middle school for football her in SF named the Lobos. You best believe I will implement some turquoise.
