Five years!

Much like the good ole USA, it took a small group of agitators to lay the foundation for what has become the greatest board around!

To these few men I offer my gratitude, as it takes people of vision to take first steps when the destination is unknowable!

As I think about it, the work of these few has translated into much less work for the rest of us since we were all busy here reading about our beloved Lobos...

Here's to the next five years!

Has it been five years? Wow. I think there's a candle for each of the charter members to blow out and one left over for Mark as a charter member and also its creator? Or am I missing someone?

I also get confused because that old eco-board- the one you all got directed to for Lobo fixes while this one was being worked on... if I'm not mistaken, its birthday is sometime in March. I got kicked off of WB in December of '06, reinvited and then kicked off again in January of '07, and it seems Mark and Rick were booted shortly after or around that time. So Mark started thinking about TLL around January or February of '07, because that's when he ran the idea by us.

Am I mistaken, Mark? I am getting old, so it's possible...

Five years? I guess we can thank BBW for this board. LOL. What a jump from just the few of us on the little outlaw board to this. Mark, you have done an amazing job. Who would have ever thought it would grow to this. And to Bloo, Roob, and the rest of the charter members...Cheers!

Sort of P.O.'d I wasn't made aware of this until 2009 and even then it wasn't until someone noticed my exceptional skills on TRM. Just think where we'd be if I'd been here all along.

I have been posting on lobo message boards for at least 10 years now. I was never very active until the lobo lair. I was never a member of wolf bytes because I couldn't stand BBW from the loboland days and from some other experiences. I found out about the Lobo Lair because Mark had a post on I think Loboland that had a link inviting people to the old LoboLair site. I was glad to find a great site where people could express their opinions and have a quality conversation about lobo and college basketball. There was none of the "You aren't a real fan" crap that had kept me from posting on other lobo sites.

Mark great job and thank you for letting me be apart of the best forum on the web.
