Here is wishing you a great university career - scholastically, socially, & of course athletically. If you put in the work in class & on the court & take a little time to enjoy college life, I am certain you will have the greatest experience of your life - enjoy & cherish.
Oh & by the way - GO LOBOS!!!!!!!!!!! & GO MYLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
keep that swagger boy-man....bring it :) can't wait to see you in cherry and silver!
Tim, you will come in with a DI body and have a chance to be a man among boys during your Lobo career.
I like the Chris Webber style dunk where you throw it down with one hand and then keep the hand in the air.
Tim, love your attitude and really appreciated your comments when you called in. I look forward to seeing you play as a Lobo GO LOBOS GO TIM - Welcome to NM. By the way I lived in Rancho Cucamonga 10 years (Alta Loma) - several of my friends had kids at Etiwanda High! Keep the Cali connection to NM going!!!
Kind of reminded me of a Charlie Thomas type as well--not that he's at that skill level yet, of course, as that will take time and experience. But in terms of his physical strength and athleticism, he appears to have the tools (and attitude) to develop over time into that kind of player at the collegiate level. Hopefully he can eventually become as effective as Thomas, but time will tell.
For those too young to know, Charlie Thomas was a real beast inside who transferred in from Wake Forest and played for Gary Colson from 1987-1989. He wasn't the tallest guy on the court but he was strong and powerful and could really score around the basket. He was tenacious in the paint and put the power in power forward.
I'm so looking forward to watching Tim mixing it up in the middle against the boys from UNLV & SDSU!!!
Welcome to Lobo Country, Tim!!!
GO LOBOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tim, I don't know what happens people who move to the southwest, but Red or Green chili becomes a must after a while! Your willingness to say you'll try it puts you another step up the ladder!! Go big Tim!! In you read this site for a month you will have a restaurant guide to the best New Mexican food in Albuquerque, I live in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and we don't get the great Albuquerque/Northern NM food so I just have to read and drool! Again Great to have you!
Note to Tim Myles: Congrats, man...this will be the most exciting days of your young life so far...you will love the PIT, the City and the Fans...and the school is the most unique in the West of any university. Welcome...we all look forward to cheering For You and WITH YOU!! GO Lobos!!!![]()
After reading the comments, and getting more info. I think this kid can be a jem in a couple years. Love football players that come to basketball, he will play like a beast.
Congrats.

Coach Brousard recruited him. I wonder if Coach sees in mr. Myles what he saw in mr. Granger. It sounds like it. Time will tell...
Great to have you Tim! We look forward to watching your game and developing as a Lobo.
Duder, I loved Charlie Thomas! I think the Eman comparrison is probably the closest right now ... which is pretty big time. Being able to play with power under the rim can make up for a lack of height. Ask KT or even Little Bus Gary.
I get a feeling that Tim is going to have a big jump in hoops development over the next season and some PAC teams are going to be sorry they didn't see the forrest through the trees. Superiour athletic ability and coordination can lead to large strides in skill development. If he was great at a skill position in FB then he should transition nicely to hoops. I know this because my lack of superior athleticism and coordination led me to an excellent desk job with fancy computer screens.

Does anybody have a close-up of young mr. Myles. I ask because I'm at the airport & just saw a 6'6 - 6'7 well built young man all decked out in Lobo gear & I don't reconize him as one of our present players. Thanks.
