Lobos............ >10 first downs, >10 points, 0 unforced errors, and no injuries
Texas.... held to under 30 points
Outside of an improbable W what do you hope to see this weekend?
Here is my wish list:
1. > 100 yards rushing
2. < 1 turnover
3. no injuries
4. >= 21 points
5. > 100 yards rushing
Lobos............ >10 first downs, >10 points, 0 unforced errors, and no injuries
Texas.... held to under 30 points
I know realistic goals need to be where we should aim.. But at the same time...
Lets hope for more than 10 pts and 100 yds rushing...
This offense is something Tejas is not used to... So im hoping for
23 pts
150 plus rushing yards
150 passing yards
15 1st downs
It is feasible
28pts
200 rushing
100 passing
0 turnovers
2 texas turnovers
A win...if not a win then....
0 penalties.
<2 turnovers
forcing 2 to 3 turnover from UT
1 or 2 sustained scoring drives (something that is difficult against UT)
continued no special teams errors
10 to 20 points from our offense ...defensive scores are always gravy
4 to 6 sacks of the UT QB whoever it might be at the time
Keepinmg UT under 42 points
Even or better time of possesion

WOOF WOOF WOOF
1. No injuries. Typical bumps and bruises excepted.
2. Win the turnover battle. Even if it's 4 to 3. Tejas is talented and knows how to cover and put helmets on the ball. I want to see us do the same.
3. 300+ yards total offense. I want to see that we can move the ball against a good defense.
4. Three or fewer penalties. Key to last weeks rout, and a sign that the lack of discipline that was a hallmark of the previous coaching staff is gone.
5. No long plays for UT touchdowns. Blown coverages in the secondary have been a problem for the last three years and have led to big scoring plays. I want to see that our DBs have learned the system well enough to avoid these costly mistakes.
Win score
Win turnovers
Win time of possession
I just don't want to see anyone come back in a body bag.
For me its the same as before the season started - progress, play hard, discipline. With what Coach Davie & Co. inherited, that is realistic. Now, this doesn't mean that I'm not routing for a major upset - I'm just saying what it will take to satisfy me this season.
I just hope we earn the respect of the Longhorns and their fans. That means more to me at this point and time of the program.
someone on the radio this morning covered it well. Be Rocky Balboa to UTs Creed. Make them know they were in a game close enough for them to say I don't want a rematch.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
I will be in attendance. Despite the outcome, I want Texas plans applauding our teams efforts. I want Texas fans coming up to me after the game saying things like, "You guys are good".

- More rushing yards than penalty yards against
- More scores than turnovers
- No QB's out for the season
- within 2 scores after 3 quarters (I believe though we will get worn down)
I'd be happy just to be able to see the game on any type of stream or video.
1. Hurt their quarterback
2. Protect our quarterbacks
3. Every Texas player hurts when they climb out of bed on Sunday
4. Every Lobo player gives 100% the entire game.
5. Hurt their backup quarterback
