he's not the same guy he was just a few years ago. He used to be fun to watch, but it's not fun to watch great players go on the slow, agonizing downside of their careers.

Don't worry. He'll probably change his mind in the next few minutes and keep playing anyway.

    Classic Favre

Wish this could have been his going away play, instead of the bumbledumb INT he threw in the playoffs.

I'm really gonna miss him. He played with a heart as big as all outdoors. With all the prima donna quaterbacks around now, he was old school. He would run all the way down the field to hug a WR on a TD pass.

Give me Brett over Brady anytime. So much of the "enthusiasm" now shown in the NFL is misplaced. A guy celebrating a making a sack in the fourth quarter when his team is losing by 30...Brett's was real.

Thanks for the memories, Brett. I wasn't a Green Bay fan, but I was a Favre fan.

Farve as a man over Brady but not the football player. Noway. I loved the way he played and all but the guy threw a ton of INT's but you never knew when he was going to do something great and run down the field like Rick said. That I will miss.
