Any Idea what channel on Comcast ?
Any Idea what channel on Comcast ?
I hate it when my two teams play each other but I hope it's a decent match-up and that UNM is able to gain some confidence from it.
GO LOBOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In Santa Fe if you're on Comcast you have to subscribe to it. KS has a preview of the game at http://www.abqjournal.com/320943/spo...-cardinal.html
RS hopes the Cardinal will be looking forward to playing Tennessee. http://www.golobos.com/SportSelect.d...B_OEM_ID=26000

A bit more informaton for tonight's game against Stanford.

If you do have the Pac-12 channel on your TV and run into any difficulties accessing these links, please contact Comcast to have your account id properly setup.
I'm hoping we can run a little offense. This team will probably overpower us everywhere, but I'd have liked the game with all of our posts healthy. Don't expect we'd win, but maybe make them nervous for about 5 minutes...
Five minutes BS. An upset will put us back in Big Dance contention. Go Lobos.
Deeva is still hurt and will not play be rested for the Miami trip.
Berhend just compared Lady Lobos in this game to a longshot filly running in Kentucky Derby.
I never like listening to games on the radio--I am not a sane person when I can't see what is going on. But tonight I listened to the whole thing without throwing anything, punching the wall, or screaming (too much). Maybe the game looked different than it sounded, but this SOUNDED like team that fought very hard. I never would have guessed we would rebound with them, especially on the O boards.
Nice game for Alex (again) and both PGs.
shooting percentages on the wing and the inability to guard their all-american...but better than i expected...
Trinidad and Tobago 2...USA 1

Alexi Lalas, "Are you going to continue to be a bunch of soft, underperforming, tattooed millionaires? You are a soccer generation that has been given everything; you are a soccer generation who's on the verge of squandering everything."
I wasn't that impressed w/Stanford except their big girl; she is legit. With that said, the post game show is sounding more and more like when McKay used to start it..."well Mike" When is "I saw some good things" no longer going to be acceptable in a 34pt loss?
Rebounding, turnovers and fouls were were ok. Shooting % was terrible. Antiesha (1-14), Sara (2-10), and Alexa (0-5) were a combined 3-29.

24% shooting has to be 90% mental. Hypnotism might or might not help, but how can it hurt?
Way to go Bryce and Brooke. Glad to see some offence out of our point guards.
Also Stanford beat Gonzaga by almost 30 when Gonzaga was #23. 73/45

This team is not close to being an NCAA team unless the win the UNLV invite in March............which has happened
Game kind of went how I expected it to. It sounded like we ran a little offense, our posts had real trouble trying to guard next years #1 WNBA draft pick. Man I would have loved to see Ebony and Whitney body that gal up. When they had 52 points early in the third, she had 30 of them. Once again I give kudos to Kianna and Alexa for playing hard against a freak. Kadija was a given. Not at all surprised to see Bryce and Brooke become aggressive from the guard spots. Stanford was loaded inside and we had to do something. Sara and Tisch probably won't both be so well guarded in another game this year. It sounded like they were over pushing themselves the whole game. We gave up a couple of wide open threes back to back. So someone will be running...
I think Sara had 8 pts and I don't remember her shooting free throws so 4 baskets sounds right.
*sigh* What could have been... *sigh*
Did you all know (remember) that Coach Flanagan was one of the first (if not THE first) to offer the Ogwumike sisters scholarships when they were in the 8th grade (at least to older sister Nneka).
In any case, Chiney ate the Lobos alive! WOW! 32 points in a season-low 23 minutes of play...again, WOW!!!
GO LOBOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!
Can't get down about getting clobbered by a powerhouse on the road, especially with all of the injuries. Lobos showed signs of gelling before the rash of injuries and must now find new combinations and identity. Its a difficult task for a rebuilding program to come up with a new game plan mid season.
No more cupcakes! Seriously, I'm giving up cupcakes.
Does coach Sanchez have guys who run scout team against her team? I was watching the UCONN practice on sports center and geno auremia has guys who practice against his team. This isn't the first time I've heard women's coaches doing this.
