    well as a player maybe he deserves it, but in my mind, Kobe represents everything that is wrong with the NBA. He is a spoiled brat who wants everything his way. Don't forget it was less than a year ago that he was demanding a trade and publicly calling his management idiots. I admit he seems to be a better teammate this year, but I don't think the lakers would be where they are without Pao Gasol.

    IMO, they gave it to him as a lifetime achievement award. This is probably his best MVP like season, but I thought others had better MVP years. I don't have a problem with Kobe winning though, because he is the best player in the game and it's about time that he won one of these awards.
