What scares me is that the Journal probably doesn't feel they need a FB or men's BB writer, but I hope they don't think they need a columnist. It would be terrible if Stevens got a job, but Iliana didn't.

Yeah, but it sucks that Ili won't have a job unless the Journal comes to their senses. What are the chances of that?

It appears that Fowler, and earlier Carlton got out in time. But not Iliana. I really feel for her.

I should think that a writer with Iliana's skills should have little trouble finding a good offer. The only questions are how long it will take and how far afield she will have to go.

I was going to add a snide comment, in that part above, about how Iliana's one person affirmative action resume would make it easier. It would be a gross injustice to her, though. It will indeed help, but at least if it helps her to get a new job, we know that she is highly qualified sight unseem and name unread.
