Meh. The worst kept secret in college basketball. Sometimes a player has to test his lazy defending, tripping, flopping, and elbowing skills at a higher level of basketball.
We always knew it would happen. Best of luck to Elijah, a player like him deserves a shot at the dance
Head coach Craig Neal has annouMed that after meeting with Elijah 8rown, he has elected to use trP graduate transr rule and he will be continuing his playing
car at another inmhtion.
"We are grateful of the contribuhons that Elijah has made to our basketball program. He has matured and developed over the la*t three years. which led him to
being one of the top Mountain West player* the last two sea*ons. He is an incredibly talented player. who brought a lot of excitement to our fans and to The Pit. No
doubt this i* a tough decision for all involved but especially for Elijah, but we are a family and we will alway* support all of our players pursuing their goal*. We
congratulate Elijah on his upFoming graduahon from UNM which is an awe*ome accompli*hment and wi*h him nothíng but the best.
| am excited about rhe upcoming ason, as r core of talented young playen come into tlPir own, joid by an eeplionally rtrong rruiting class.

My position as a moderator adds no validity to my opinions. I am a fan just like you and as such when I express a view it represents me and me alone and carries no more weight than any other fan other than the fact that I am always right.(Like everyone else.)
Let's be gracious about this. He may have done some dumb things, but he did some great things as well. He'll always be a Lobo (player and graduate).

Good that the high road was taken by all.
Best of luck to you, EB!
In all honesty, we were extremely lucky to have him. I'd say he was worth at least 2-3 wins each season. The record would have been worse had he not been a Lobo!
Can't blame him one bit. GOOD LUCK OUT THERE ELIJAH!!!
His game reminds me a lot of a less explosive Rashad Vaughn (UNLV, Bucks). There's no doubt he's a gifted volume scorer. A school with strong coaching and team leadership might be able reign him in, but he's not going to be able to graduate transfer into a P5 contender and be given carte blanche to jack up 25 shots per game. He could be a deadly offensive threat if he plays within a system.
***PRAYING FOR A SIMILAR TWEET ABOUT CRAIG***
Well Van Tate obviously wasnt 100% wrong about him so wonder what EB has to say about that.
I will laugh my a$$ off if he ends up at Cal.
Maybe he will go with Neal and Alford to Indiana![]()
I wish EB the best I enjoyed watching him play here. Next man up! I hope Mathis doesn't leave he deserves a shot at EB's spot!!
Goodbye and best of luck. Give 'em hell, kid.
Definitely the best case scenario for all involved parties.

Best of Luck to EB over the last 2 seasons his offense was a threat to every team we played...Once a Lobo always a Lobo...
Thanks EB and nothing but love for you!
Congratulations to EB for graduating and thanks for being a part of the program.
Curious to see if his role changes in a way that is similar to Cullen's at Ole Miss.
Oooo goodbye and good luck Elijah!
Best of luck to EB.
Bought Noodles another "rebuilding" year.
My "All Transfer" Team is starting look like a championship contender. Now have a scoring SG to go with all those big guys.
Pancake
EB (Cullen Backup)
Arthur Edwards

Best of luck in the future, Elijah. Thanks for being a Lobo.
And the wheels keep falling off..
I wonder if we go hard now at someone like Jermaine Couisnard .

How does the graduate transfer rule work? I thought you had to go to a school that doesnt have a graduate program that your current school has. Does that still hold true?
Sadly its to be expected I guess. Now if other guys namely freshmen and sophmores decide to leave like rats jumping out of a sinking ship, Ill be more worried

Best of luck to EB. He can do well under a coach who instills some discipline. He needs to stop with the talking and antics and just concentrate on playing the game.
Best of luck to EB. Hope he uses this opportunity to improve his game and his attitude.
