What hotel is he staying at???
Guys: It's time to dust off the Zylan signs! Which hotel is he staying at?
Did Z play with Connor or Dane?
He is an average college basketball player at best. way over hyped.
If he had any type of jump shot he would be very good but that has limited him.
No.....way to one dimensional
Can you believe my neighbor came knocking at my door at 2:30 AM this morning......Good thing I was still up playing my bagpipes......
.....maybe next year......
Interesting timing, don't know how much he can gain leaving now.
hey why not? in Weir's grand scheme we could benefit from his gritty play and he might fit right in with the hustle. could be a great role player.
He never improved! He has stayed stagnant and is the same player he was in HS. Played out of position most of this last year though. We reap what we sow....
I'm pretty sure he already used his red-shirt year.. So won't he lose a year by transferring?
Interesting that he is the first player to transfer from SDSU in a decade. Says a lot about Steve Fisher and their program.
Also, if he transfers to Grand Canyon as the article suggests he would be a great get for Thunder Dan.
Another Also, he says he is transferring because he wants to get in the "League".... I'm glad he is a good student is all I will say about that but best of luck to him.

First player that received "significant" minutes.. there have been a few others in the recent past including PG Kevin Zabo.
"There’s a risk, however. He’ll have to sit out next season and likely have only one year of Division I eligibility remaining. Cheatham redshirted his first year after offseason surgery for a broken bone in his foot, returning to practice in December. He’d need a medical waiver from the NCAA that would grant him a sixth season, allowing him to sit out one and play two at his new school."
My position as a moderator adds no validity to my opinions. I am a fan just like you and as such when I express a view it represents me and me alone and carries no more weight than any other fan other than the fact that I am always right. (Like everyone else.)
I would pick him up for sure if he has two years left. He is a project but he had some solid games.
I'm sure SDSU won't let him transfer to any team in the MW. Had he come to UNM in the first place, things may have turned out different for Neal.
So much hype on the guy and he's amounted to squat in SD. Watched him many a time and have never seen anyone fake himself out as much as he does. Saw one game last year where he turned the ball over practically every time he got it. No thanks. Not even for a year.
Years ago I was really bummed when Zylan picked SDSU over New Mexico. Once I saw him play, I wasn't so disappointed. He's a decent player, and he'd be a pretty good one if he could hit a jump shot, but he's been unable to do that with any consistency so far. It wasn't a huge loss for the Lobos when he didn't come here, and it won't be a huge loss for San Diego State now that he's leaving.
No grass in Arizona. But he gets to go home.
