Here's a nice analysis of the match-up between Tony and DeMar DeRozan. Obviously DeRozan has the advantage on the offensive end, but the last time the teams met, Tony was able to slow him down and frustrate him (11 pts, FG 5/13), and the Bucks won. Could be the key to the series.

Oooh, I hadn't seen that dunk against the Hornets! That's when you realize just how much height/wingspan Tony really has...

I was surprised that former Aggie Pascal Siakam didn't show up in the stat line. Not even as a DNP.

It appears that he is currently in the NBADL with the Raptors 905.

Tony with 14 pts last night. He shot well from 3. He's not getting any run in the 4th quarter and I wish Kidd would give him a shot with some minutes there. It's his team, and I'm biased, but IMO Tony could have helped them last night with his defense in the 4th. Also, with the Greek Freak and Middleton stepping up I think defense will focus on them and leave Tony some more opportunities from outside. Go Tony Snell. Go Bucks.

I too was scratching my head about Tony not getting 4th quarter minutes. He was shooting well and the Bucks could've used his defense.

You folks aren't the only ones wondering why Tony has been sitting in the 4th. He is averaging 12.5 ppg in the series, shooting .500 from the field, .538 from three in 27.5 mins. But sitting late. So...

That was a really enjoyable article to read about Snell. To think we had Snell, Bairstow, Kirk, Kendall, and Greenwood on the same team and a 3 seed. Gosh darn Harvard.

Tony had 5 pts 2 rebs 2 asts tonight ... and may have been the game MVP.

He held DeMar DeRozan (27.3 ppg) scoreless in the 1st as the Bucks built a 20-point lead. DeRozan finished 0/8 from the field with 8 pts. Bucks, 106-77.

Tony's D and the lop-sided game got me musing about another former Lobo #21:

    Michael Cooper:
    *Lobos: avg 16 & 5, All-American 1978
    *Lakers: 5 rings, 5x All-Defense 1st team, Defense POY 1987

"Cooper's like a winter coat on Bird." Good times, good times...

Love Snell and his D BUT not quite yet - those are some really, really big shoes - ask Larry Bird, Reggie Theus and many, many others not DeRozan (no offense but not Larry Bird) and for years not one playoff series. Might get there (come back with DPOY and multiple 1st team all defense and a commercial where LeBron says he is the best defender he ever faces & we will talk Snell = Coop.

Watching T Snell right now....that man is one hell of a defensive player. I did not realize how heady he was. Very disruptive and extremely effective. Added bonus is that he is stroking it right now!!!!! He should be due for a nice little contract and raise after this season!!!
