Thank You
Figuerora will not play for NMSU. It was posted an hour ago. Another possible future Lobo?
Figueroa will be coming to UNM!
I was hoping so, but then I read this in another article Unfortunately: Figueroa was enrolled at NMSU for the spring semester and even though he never played a minute for the Aggies, NMSU block a transfer to UNM, UTEP or any other Western Athletic Conference school.
They can't block him forever, he'll do the jc thing for a year then be a lobo. Thank you nmsu yet again!
NMSU needs to stop blocking transfers. Its hurting what little image they have left. I didn't think they could be so petty.
Of course, Figueroa could end up here., However he was being recruited by UCF, South Florida, Florida, Miami, Louisville, Virginia Commonwealth and Virginia Tech among others.

Lol. UNM poached the only other D1 coach in a state with a population of barely 2 million people. . .and they did so during the most critical part of NMSU's recruiting process. Pretty sure they have a right to be salty. It's also standard procedure to block transfers to a school that you play regularly.
NMSU. it is not a rivalry unless you win around 50-50. Hell , even Noodles hammered NMSU. Rivalry? I think not.
"Even Noodles hammered NMSU"?
Noodles record against NMSU was 5 wins, 3 loses, not exactly dominance.
He did hammer in several of the wins that were double-digits, while the some wins and all the loses were closer.
Correct, my bad.
If Figuerora wants to come play for UNM I assume the block is for one basketball season. However, he would have to transfer to a non D-1 university or lose a year of eligiblity, correct?
Yes, no? Does it matter that he has never set foot on a college baskeball court??
Figueroa will be here!
Not real soon. JC first.

We'll see if it's like when Hobson maintained ties from initial recruitment, JC route, and ended up here. It would be great if LJ was a Lobo!
