Lobo fans get ready to howl! The Lobo Basketball Lobo Howl will be this Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (M.D.T.) at The Pit. Come and help usher in a new era and continue the tradition of another as the men's and women's basketball teams take to the hardwood and show their stuff. New men's head coach Steve Alford will look to start his first season as a Lobo while women's head coach Don Flanagan returns to guide the defending Mountain West Conference Tournament Champs back to another title.
Be sure to get to The Pit early to take part in the <i>Select a Seat</i> season ticket sale. Fans will be able to select the best available seats for men's and women's games in what promises to be another exciting season of Lobo Basketball.
Both the men's and women's team will take part in an inter squad scrimmage as well as test their skills from downtown in a three-point shooting contest. The high-flying men's team will rock the rim with a slam-dunk competition to close out the evening. Don't miss any of the action at The Pit on Friday night.
