Definitely worth the listen. His attitude regarding the suspension is sooooooo much more mature and wise than what I'm used to seeing its refreshing. Making it an example for his players - sometimes the refs "make a call and you have to move on....." is such a life as well as football lesson. I hope you guys enjoy and appreciate the interview as much as I did.

I have moved on about the suspension. I was pleased that he said Sheriron Jones will be on campus in early June. Looks like Tuioti, Jones, and Gerhart will battle it out for starting QB.

agree re: "moving on" but i'm afraid that won't be the norm, especially for the media so it was good for me to hear how Coach is dealing with it. Also, agree re: QB's - I'm kinda excited about Carol moving to RB - 5'7" but almost 190 with 4.4 speed.

After listening to this I can’t help but realize how much of a perfect match Davie and UNM are. UNM has a great coach with tons of experience that wants to be here and has done a wonderful turnaround job at UNM. Any other coach would have left after back to back bowl games and a bowl victory. Davie realizes that UNM took a chance on him after 10 years in the booth and knows his options are limited. Both should be grateful and appreciate each other.
