Yes, I am watching some. Not as dilligently as if the US were playing.

No real rooting interest, but I enjoy watching any team that plays with skill and passion.

I’m half-Belgian, so I’m rooting big-time for les Diables Rouges! My dad’s ancestors all came from England, so they’re my number two.

What do you think of Argentina possibly not making it to the round of 16? I would low-key love to see Nigeria move on, I would be ok with Iceland too. Nothing personal against Argentina but it would be so awesome for those teams.

I've been watching a little here and there. My work hours make it tough to do so. I don't have any fave teams, although I've been sweet on the Nigerians since seeing them beat (I think it was) Bulgaria in person in Dallas when the Copa was in the U.S. (And then getting caught in a huge Nigerian celebration in the stadium hallway as I tried to make my way out. All I could do was stay where I was and jump up and down with the chanting Nigerians for about 10 mins. cause there was no was I was going anywhere through that wild crowd.)

.... I look at the schedule each day and then decide how much I'm willing to disrupt my sleep pattern. Watching the English smash Panama 5-0 in just the first half was a sorry waste of sleep time. But waking up just in time to see the Colombians put away the Poles on a couple of realllllly sweet plays was rather nice. Thank god for Telemundo cause I don't have cable.

SO much drama in Group B .... It was hard to watch two games at the same time, both were great.

Spain's late goal put them at the top of the group by tying Morocco 2-2.

Iran fought till the very end but missed a really good chance at picking up a second goal. Portugal goes through with a 1-1 result.

Here is the play that could've changed everything: https://twitter.com/FOXSoccer/status/1011340516582043649

Mexico moves on thanks to Korea!! To celebrate, here is EXO with an awesome cover of Sabor a Mi

Also, this pattern of winning the World Cup and then losing right away at the next one is kinda wild! https://twitter.com/8fact_footballl/...530233856?s=21

It was a good game. I do feel bad for Messi but I don’t think this takes away from what he’s already accomplished in his career.

Just got back from Russia and let me say it was awesome!!! Went to Sweden vs Germany game in Sochi and Brazil vs Serbia in Moscow. I have never been to a sporting event quite like it in my life. I have been to a super bowl, Final 4, National Championship game but these don't measure up to the passion these fans have. It was unreal! I was blown awaaaaayyyy!!!! Brazil and Neymar with the ball control, confidence, swagger, the team had it was incredible.

I look for Croatia-Brazil final. Great World Cup. I am surprised at how Russia's stadiums stack up. Are these new stadiums built just for the WC?

Some are new. Russia spent about $11 billion to host the World Cup: https://qz.com/1302212/2018-fifa-wor...-from-the-iss/

This was an odd quarterfinal bracket. I think the Uruguay/France/Brazil Belgium were all better sides than any in the other bracket. It makes a good case for reseeding after group play. If Belgium does win it all, they will have truly run the gauntlet.
