I would imagine that all our coaches are there. Huge place with a lot of teams participating.

According to twitter, Bill is going to Chicago. But I believe Symone is going to Kansas City, possibly because that is where the best New Mexico players are (NM Clippers 17U Adidas Gold Gauntlet).

We don't seem to have as many insiders (parents and coaches) on this board who follow the high school girls' AAU scene like we used to have. I certainly don't qualify. But I have heard a lot of good things about Cailee Crawford who is a rising sophomore at Highland.

In this Hudl video she looks more like a wing (similar to former Lobo Abbie Letz or Wyoming's Taylor Rusk) than a point guard. But she has three more years of high school to develop her game. She definitely has some big guard skills.

We saw her play at a game early in the season. She wasn't really playing PG, though she sometimes had a few PG-like moments. I think the Abby comparison is not bad.

Between the way the game was played (tempo) it was hard to evaluate her play. The LC team pushed the pace, and Highland as a team looked a bit disjointed.

This is officially a "dead week" (no face-to-face visits, but phone calls and social media OK). More tournaments coming next week for "evaluation."

As has been the case with this coaching staff, their recruiting interests are kept pretty close to the vest. I have no problem with that, especially if they found someone under the radar. But waiting for news is a bit like a young kid with no concept of time waiting for Christmas to arrive.

    Patience.

Yes, but patience is frustrating! ;)
Hoping for one more post and one more "pure" PG.

With Autumn Watts verbal commitment we still have 3 open scholarships for the 2019 class. We should be hearing about some more commitments in the next month or two.

Sometimes it pays to be patient enough to wait for the early-shopping P5 schools to run out of schollies and pick up their leftovers. Don't know if that is what happened last year, but we picked up two four-star recruits pretty close to November.

Ferrara was recruiting California, if I remember correctly there was a comment about being in Northern California. A player he might be looking at, kind of a hunch feeling:

If staff can land Bamberger and Robinson, could be a pretty good 4 and 5 punch for a few years.

A PG mentioned in a story a while back, don't know if strong mutual interest.
