It's always Lobo roundball season . . .
MEN'S NIT TOURNAMENT
If the men are selected to play in the NIT Tournament, The Pit would likely
host a 1st round game. Season ticket holders have the
first option to purchase their season ticket seats for the game. Season
ticket holders will also have the opportunity to purchase additional seats
for the game. These additional seats purchased will be assigned on a "best
available" basis and may not be located next to the season ticket location
although every effort to do so will be made.
NEW LOBO ORDER
WE ARE NEW MEXICO
Game is at 8pm MST according to espnu's SELECTION show.
looks like they played some ranked teams close....just means our victory even sweeter!!!

Common opponents this season,
Nebraska beat Creighton 54 -52 at home, and Texas Tech 82-69 in Lubbock, and TCU 62-50 in Fort Worth
They also have a victory over Missouri, at the very beginning of the Big 12 season.
They should be a tough opponent and not taken lightly
Go Lobos!!!

Interesting roster. They show 11 Guards and 3 Forwards.
Leading scorer is Dequnadro, a 6-5 200 lb SR Guard. 13 PPG 58.3% FGA
Velander a 6-2 200 lb SR Guard is their leading 3 point shooter. 58 of 146
Put Tony of Dequnduro and Wills on Velander.
Their big man is 6-8 235lb JR. He only plays 26 minutes a game and scores less than 2 points a game??? There are 8 Guards with more PPG than the first forward???

They say that they are "officially" the smallest team in the NCAA.

We beat them by double digits at home.. If the place is rocking..
We don't play a big man very often, if you can even call them big.. Nebraska has the smallest roster in the nation. We play very stingy defense and rely on that to win games, don't see any way this game goes over 125 total points, and thats generous.... Obviously we can beat good teams (Missouri, Texas, played even @ OU til 3 mins left) but also can lose to bad teams (Iowa St., UMBC, Oregon St)... It really depends on what Husker team shows up.. I'm looking forward to this matchup... We like to run the clock... If we get up on you early, don't give up, we tend to play keep away and make mistakes once we get a big lead (ie Texas A&M).. Very few 1st half turnovers.. Good luck to you guys.
**edit**
No Offense to you OKC, but what about anything really makes you think you will win the game by double digits? Certainly isn't our schedule....

lobos could manage that. no huge athletic bigs to worry about. little guys vs little guys.
maybe 10-15 minutes of garth, gary, wills, martinez, and toppert out there at one time
I know I will be buying my season tix to the game! Bring on the Huskers!!
How did your slot tourney go Kenny? lol

I can't help but think that altitude will mess with the Huskers. If Doc Sadler is still the coach I can tell you that they will be a very well coached team. He coached at UA Ft Smith, a local juco, and did really well. He used to be push it all the time so it is kinda wierd to hear that he is a grind it out kind of guy...must have to do with personel more than anything

No offense taken.. My reasons are being a KU fan as well, I have had the opportunity to see you all play numerous times here in Big 12 country.. I think this will be one of the loudest and toughest places that Nebraska has played this year.. I was able to go to the Baylor game last week here and I honestly think we win the battle of the boards, our defense is rather stingy as well but the one thing we have that you don't is the ability to go inside to create a balanced attack.. With our defense, playing at the PIT and the fact that NU will have to beat us by shooting the ball very well from outside, I like our chances.. Maybe not double digits but I think we should win...
