UNM Football Camp 2019: Aug. 6

The University of New Mexico football team is in the middle of preseason camp. With only a couple more weeks before the 2019 season begins, head coach Bob Davie and the Lobos have their work cut out for them.

Although camp began last Friday, the team didn’t experience wearing full pads until Tuesday. The weather was hot, but the Lobos get to relax a little on Wednesday, their first day off. New Mexico officially begins the 2019 season on August 31 by hosting Sam Houston State.

2019 Mountain West Football Media Days: New Mexico

The University of New Mexico football team finished the 2018 season at the bottom of the Mountain Division in the Mountain West Conference, and that’s where the Lobos are predicted to end the upcoming season. They also did not have any All-Conference Team selections.¬†All of this was announced on Tuesday, the first a the two-day 2019 MW Media Days. Three Lobos get a shot at the NFL

The University of New Mexico football team could soon be represented in the National Football Association by three more players: D’Angelo Ross, Jalin Burrell and Delane Hart-Johnson.

They will be joining Byron Bell (free agent most recently with the Green Bay Packers), Glover Quin (free agent most recently with the Detroits Lions), Corey Bojorquez (Buffalo Bills) and Jason Sanders (Miami Dolphins). Continue reading “Three Lobos get a shot at the NFL”
